College and Career
The majority of AOC students apply to colleges all over the United States and Europe. Below are the most common platforms used.
Just like California, the UC campuses are worlds of opportunity. From deep valleys to sunny beaches, they have the most diverse range of people and locations in the state. There are 9 campuses where AOC students apply. Students wishing to apply must complete the A-G subject requirements. Applications are due Nov. 30th.
The California State University is consistently renowned for its academic excellence and contributions to the public good. Each year, the 23 CSU campuses have received accolades for providing quality education, ensuring access and affordability, and serving as an engine of social mobility. Students wishing to apply must complete the A-G subject requirements. Applications are due Nov. 30th.
The Common Application is an undergraduate college admission application used by many private and out of state colleges. This application allows students to apply to several colleges at the same time. Students should first verify that the out of state or private school they are applying to uses Common App. If so, you will need to establish an account and enter all of your information. The Common App opens August 1st of each year. Given the variance in college application deadlines, students should pay close attention to when they need to submit their materials.
At a community college, you can save money and transfer to a four-year college, earn a degree, or obtain a certificate. California has 116 community colleges and has transfer agreements with UC/CSU and private colleges.
The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service is a UK-based organization whose main role is to operate the application process for British universities.
