The AOC Experience
What to Expect at AOC
AOC is a middle college high school and a student's experience at AOC is not going to be the same as a high school student at one of the comprehensive high schools in the Hart District. Educational plans are designed utilizing the opportunities provided by our environment and differ significantly from the educational plans followed at the comprehensive high schools. All AOC Education Plans are designed to meet the A-G requirements and requirements for other private and out-of-state colleges.
AOC students must take COC classes along their AOC classes beginning in 9th grade. AOC and COC Classes are pre-planned for 9th grade students. As students progress through AOC, they have more COC options to choose from.
