Academy of the Canyons (AOC) Middle College High School is a small, alternative high school (grades 9-12) of choice that is part of the William S. Hart Union High School District and located on the Valencia campus of College of the Canyons (COC). For the past 25 years, AOC has offered a personalized, supportive learning experience for academically driven students who take both high school and college classes to meet their educational goals.
Starting in 9th grade, students take COC courses and AOC honors high school classes—giving them the opportunity to explore their future today through a wide range of college subjects while still in high school. COC tuition is waived for California residents, and many students earn transferable college credit or even an associate degree at little to no cost.
