The Transfer Pathway
The materials on this page are for students who plan to continue at COC, or another community college, after high school in order to transfer into a college or university at the thrid (or "junior") year. If you are considering applying to a university directly out of high school, you can get information and tools to assist you at our Going Direct to College page.
The information on this page will be updated as regularly as possible to reflect the most current requirements for both Academy of the Canyons and College of the Canyons. Additionally, Ms. Cubbage gives class presentations and meets individually with students throughout the academic year.
You can read through all of the information on this page, or use the links below to skip to the section you are interested in.
Educational Plans
The High School Educational Plan (AKA: The Ed Plan) is one of the most important tools that any student has. It is a listing of the classes, at both AOC and COC, that you will need to take to graduate from high school and, for those pursuing the Transfer Pathway, for satisfying college transfer requirements while a student at AOC.
You will create this plan with Ms. Cubbage in an individual appointment. New 11th and 12th graders will most likely meet with her prior to the beginning of school year to make the plan. New 10th graders will meet with her during their regularly scheduled appointment in Spring semester. Starting in the spring semester of 10th grade, students meet with Ms. Cubbage every semester to update the plan.
